Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Aren't we supposed to go in order?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I thought we were, too, but I can send mine when I get home from Boys Night Out tonight. I must go shoot pool and play Jukebox Nazi.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Shoot. I attached it to an email, typed up a blurb about the song and labelled the subject line with #3 title artist, and sent it to buffistarawk at gmail dot com. Was that correct? Or has it shown up duing the time I've been gone?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

That looks correct, Alicia, but it's still not there. Have you still got it in your outbox? Do you have the Gmail password? You could send it from the account, to the same account.

Yeah, Hayden was hoping that we would pick our songs, in part, by how well they segued from the song previous.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Oh, I didn't know we were supposed to try and mesh well. Shit, this is hard! It was hard enough to think of a theme-appropriate song. I may be in over my head here.

It's no longer in my Outbox, but now that I think of it, my virus scan did something goofy after it sent, so maybe it failed. Let me send it again, and if that doesn't work, I might bow myself out of this new mixing game.

Are you ready to be strong?

Are you guys making a CD for Emmett?

RIO!

It's a CD for ourselves, but the theme is "Emmett's Mix: Songs about (or referring to) Baseball And/Or Broken Noses." We've decided to allow songs about similar sports or injuries as well.

Still great. Just celebrated 10 months together. She gave me the Incredibles DVD as an "anniversary" gift.

How's the wedding plans?
