Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

Are you ready to be strong?

Are you guys making a CD for Emmett?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

RIO!

It's a CD for ourselves, but the theme is "Emmett's Mix: Songs about (or referring to) Baseball And/Or Broken Noses." We've decided to allow songs about similar sports or injuries as well.

Still great. Just celebrated 10 months together. She gave me the Incredibles DVD as an "anniversary" gift.

How's the wedding plans?

Aww, what a good present!

Wedding plans are going fine, although telling my family has made things rather more annoying.

The thing I'm excited about now is figuring out the menu w/ the caterer. Mmm food!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, our time with the caterer was easily the best part of wedding planning. But we totally loved her and wanted to hire her to run our lives too. She was very receptive to the amuse bouche notions.

Hey Jon! Hey Rio! Hey FAQ Girl In Absentia!

Sorry, for my premature e-postulation of songs. If #9 seems to require something else following I'll post an alternate #10.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Did my track #3 ever show up? It appeared to send successfully the second time around.

Oh, huzzah.

And now, because I'm still not sure what's going on, how would I go about checking out the files that are already there? This is my first exposure to gmail, so I'm starting from square one.

FAQ Girl says "hey" back, David.

In a weird bit of synchronicity, I just got back from seeing the Bloodthirsty Lovers, the latest project of Dave Shouse (ex-Grifters and Those Bastard Souls), and who was playing in his band but Kevin March, the old Dambuilders drummer! Kevin told me that the Dambuilders were going to be releasing some "new" recordings. They did basics for a bunch of songs back in 1994 that were never released. They're busy now finishing them up.
