You know, my big sister could really beat the crap out of her. I mean, really really.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Punishingly Intricate

I would love to do the exchange also.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Current participants: Jim, Lyra Jane, Steph, Alicia, me. Anyone else want onboard for the Great Googly Moogly Gmail Round Robin 2005?

I'm in.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Me, too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm so far out I'm in too....

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

The list is: Jim, Lyra Jane, Steph, Alicia, Joe, Gandalfe, Sue, Lisah, Jon, DX, Tommyrot, and me. Assuming roughly ~5 minutes apiece, that's only 60 minutes, so there's room for at least 4 more participants to fill up an 80 minute disc (and probably even more, depending on the length of the songs).

I think we should probably stop at 20 participants. My mix discs usually hold 16-24 songs.

Anyway, once we agree on a topic, I'll set up a random order and email y'all the gmail login and password.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm in too.

Me too! Me too!!

(though I just skimmed and am not sure what I have to do - I have a highspeed connection, if that matters.)

I haven't heard the Arcade Fire though I have read 7 million articles about them. I have been listening to the Daniel Johnston cover/tribute album a ton lately (The Late Great Daniel Johnston I believe it is called). The Clem Snide and Beck songs are the bestest.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Add me to the mix, Hayden ... if there's still room.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Yeah, my love to Emmett too. Shall we add songs about baseball, too?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Shall we add songs about baseball, too?

Or perhaps songs about broken noses.
