"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

A full 1 GB of that (134 songs) is Miles Davis.

Just think of all the jazz geeks you could seduce with that kind of factoid.

Incidentally, check in with IM later tonight and I'll try to send you the last of that Jazz et Cinema collection. Do you like it so far?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have 7 GB of music on my iTunes right now (1,395 songs).

A full 1 GB of that (134 songs) is Miles Davis.

I have 33.88 GB of music, 6988 songs. A full 2.4 MB is the song "Miles Davis' Funeral" by Morphine.

Hmmm. I have one or two Miles Davis CDs - time to add to iTunes.

You'd think, but no; I share my bed with about 30 comic books and a battered stuffed gorilla.

I'm loving it! But, alas, I'm going to bed in about 10 minutes. It's getting on towards bedtime here, and I am plum tuckered out.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's a Miles Davis race.

I can't remember how many GB I've got on iTunes, but it did say 17 Days the last time I remember.

Mine says 19.2 days. I'm thinking I'm gonna need a 60 GB iPod sometime in the next six months.

Oh, the Miles album I have is Bitches Brew. I have three CDs of that - aren't there four?

My Miles Davis = 11.5 hours' worth. Right now, no other artist comes close to my Miles tally.

Now I'm curious - I wonder if there's an AppleScript that can tell me what my top artists are....

Just off the top of my head, my top artists would include Dylan, Beck, Robyn Hitchcock, Camper Van Beethoven, Bowie, Elvis Costello, Kristen Hersh, Luna, Phillip Glass, R.E.M....

I think I have about 24 Bowie albums, but most I only have them on LP.

eta: 7 hours of Dylan. That's probably about my top....

I just typed some names in the iTunes search bar, to guess who I have the most of. But I have far far far fewer songs than you, so my guess was easy.

Awwww. I have iTunes on shuffle, and "Summer Wind" just came on. Perfect. Music to go to bed by.

Ooh, 7.8 hours of Wilco - we have a new leader....

Counting Bragg/Wilco, though.

On iTunes, about 15 different artists have songs called "Summer Wind."

Also, who did the song "Where Do Words Go?"? iTunes said it's by Various Artists, but I have my doubts....
