Kaylee: Captain seem a little funny to you at breakfast this morning? Wash: Come on, Kaylee. We all know I'm the funny one.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Can you send me the CD track list when you get it all figured out?

Crap. I was thinking that I should have saved that info. Instead, when I figured out a song I just renamed it and changed its Track # to conform to the "published" order. But hey, I can post the track list that I now have with the length of each song, which should be all you need to figure things out. I'll do that with my compilaation too.

Sometime today, as I must get food of some sort. Maybe pizza.

msbelle's mix did have the right track order. I typed in the artists and titles and submitted it to freedb. Unfortunately, I accidentally submitted the CD title as A Deeply Practical Person, which is the title of erinaceous' mix, not msbelle's.

Oh. I could get the track listings of previous CDs from the CD player on my Linux box, but not these two. I guess that explains it. And now my Linux computer (along with my XP computer, as it's dual boot) is dead. Leaving me with only two modern computers in my appt, both Macs.

Huh. Posting my playlist as an html table broke the formatting of the board....

eta: OK, go here for my playlist, with track times....

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Since we were talking about videos earlier, I really love the video for the White Stripes' "The Hardest Button to Button."

erinaceous's track listing, with track times to help identify songs on the CD: [link]

eta: Which song is which of these two:

VTQ From the Block - The Voodoo Trombone Quartet
16/20 - JuJu Club

is a guess, based on which song sounded the most trombone-y.

Roguish Laird

Well, the VTQ one is a cover of "Jenny from the Block"!

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

Yep! It's a cover of "Jenny from the Block," only with "Voodoo Trombones" substituted for "Jenny". Sung by a man with a very deep voice, and, well, a lot of trombones.

16/20 - JuJu Club is not in English. That should narrow it down some ...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

GAK! I must have ripped the CDs in the wrong order. So sorry folks. I have no idea how I did that.
