Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

How about "Cigarettes and Alcohol" by Oasis?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

But then you'd have to listen to Oasis.

Sorry, hate those wankers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But then you'd have to listen to Oasis.

Better "Champagne Supernova" if you must listen to Oasis.

Speaking of which, I skimmed and read through a good chunk of the Britpop book that's out. It was fascinating reading about the very early period when Justine Frischmann was with Brett Anderson and the formation of Suede. Then all the drama about her leaving to be with Damon Albarn of Blur, and then forming Elastica herself. What a soap opera! But fascinating anyway, and a lot of great music came just from that triad. The book contends that Justine's leaving Brett was the impetus that got him focused on his music and songwriting. Also that Albarn was wildly competitive with Suede early on.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Didn't Ricky Gervais manage Suede?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I will. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the month.

David, since you mentioned Justine F., you now must find me a photo of her from the Car Song video. That was a cool ass video. I want a red vinyl space cutie suit.

Heh. I have the "Car Song" video. I ganked it off 120 Minutes back when it came out. Though Spike did that vid, it's not on his recent collection. Same tape has The Pogues "Fairtale of Christmas" video.

Having googled Justine's image fairly recently, I was surprised at how little there was out there. Let's see what can be found...

Scroll down for Justine...

So you think she's hot, GC?

Where would you get that idea?

Maybe the leather and naked belly...
