Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Hey, we can always put you up for a night or two. I figure the Pixies are reason enough to forego my one-year boycott of the ACL Fest.

Aw. Nice of you to offer. And I've always wanted to see the ACL Fest....I really hope they come to KC though! Hear that Pixies??! Announce your tour dates already!!

I just came thiiiiiis close to actually buying an iPod at the Apple store. BAD. BAD TINA.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, at least it's good to know I wasn't hallucinating.

Can't. Buy. It. Now. though. Must remember I could get laid off at any moment.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I wonder if it's Bob Pollard.

Oooh! Good guess. I'll write back and ask if it's him. Maybe he'll fess up. :)

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

Who needs food and shelter when you have an iPod?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Who needs food and shelter when you have an iPod?

Well, you do need an electrical outlet to recharge the battery. And a computer, at least long enough to download stuff onto the iPod.

I got my mix CD from bicyclops, plus the Philip Glass CD Songs for Liquid Days an hour ago. Thanks! I'm listening to the Glass right now. Haven't listened to the mix CD (it looks cool), but both CDs are already ripped and on my iPod so I can listen to the mix on the train ride/walk home.

Everything must be ripped immediately! I guess that makes me a geek....

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Everything must be ripped immediately! I guess that makes me a geek....

SA spent a decent chunk of time at my apartment this past weekend ripping a stack of my CDs to her laptop.

Did you give her internet access so she cold use CDDB to automatically name the CDs and tracks?

I hate typing crap if I don't have to....

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

SA spent a decent chunk of time at my apartment this past weekend ripping a stack of my CDs to her laptop.

It's a...hobby...of mine. I also went ahead and bought another 208 case. This is my fourth one.

Did you give her internet access so she cold use CDDB to automatically name the CDs and tracks?

Wasn't necessary, as I was either burning them right then or putting the artist and album name on there to burn later. I'm not keeping the files on my computer.
