The new Decemberists album has leaked on the Web. It comes out in March. It's gorgeous, but who's surprised at that, really.
What is its title, and where would one find this new album, if one were so inclined?
'Selfless'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

It's called "Picaresque'; I'd give my source, but the bandwidth-rape he'd get wouldn't go over well, I don't think, as I like the guy. It should be on the P2Ps, though. If not, I can be persuaded to send it over direct Internet means. The tracklist is as follows.
01 The Infanta
02 We Both Go Down Together
03 The Sporting Life
04 Eli, The Barrowboy
05 The Bagman's Gambit
06 From My Own True Love (Lost At Sea)
07 16 By 32
08 The Engine Driver
09 On The Bus Mall
10 The Mariner's Revenge Song
11 Of Angels And Angles
Why am I not surprised that no one has posted in the music thread early on New Years Day?
Soulseek & Kazaa give me no love, Mr. Broom. Any assistance would be appreciated. Profile addy is fine.
Hey, I just picked up the leftovers from the Quimby's event, so I have 13 copies of LITG to sell if people want to buy them from me and not wait for Amazon. Email me, profile addy's good!
Me too, Mr Broom. I spent a few hours today scouring for them, to no avail.
Both of you (and anyone else what wants it) add "mrbroom" to your slsk lists. I'll get online and leave it on all day so you can partake in the goodness. I also have in my Decemberists directory an awesome show from Champaign, Ill. in September. The remarkable thing about a Decemberists show (if there's just one thing) is that they're damn near note-perfect.
slsk?
Soulseek, the best P2P system ever devised. None of the spyware vulnerabilities of Kazaa and a much friendlier interface. You can actually see what place you are in line, for example. I've downloaded about five days of music in the last four months because of slsk.
In a note of coolness, today when I went to the music store to pick up a Decemberists cd, they were playing the very one I went there to buy. I also got Deathcab for Cutie and the newest Howie Day.
