Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Yay! That would be fine, Anne. Thanks!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Cool! It will probably be around 3pm or so board time before I can get them sent off.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Ack! I should keep my big mouth shut about the editor thing, because everyone would've thought Hec meant them and one other person. As far as card-carrying communists on this board, though, I have in my hands a complete list...

If the Pixies do play the ACL fest and don't come any closer to KC - I just might go. Overcrowding and lack of toilets be damned!

Hey, we can always put you up for a night or two. I figure the Pixies are reason enough to forego my one-year boycott of the ACL Fest.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

He also told me that he's working on a collaborative project with someone I've also played a lot, but he didn't want to talk about it or tell me who for fear of jinxing it.

I wonder if it's Bob Pollard. Tommy opened for GBV and Bob's a fan.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just came thiiiiiis close to actually buying an iPod at the Apple store. BAD. BAD TINA.

Well, at least it's good to know I wasn't hallucinating.

Can't. Buy. It. Now. though. Must remember I could get laid off at any moment.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I wonder if it's Bob Pollard.

Oooh! Good guess. I'll write back and ask if it's him. Maybe he'll fess up. :)

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

Who needs food and shelter when you have an iPod?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Who needs food and shelter when you have an iPod?

Well, you do need an electrical outlet to recharge the battery. And a computer, at least long enough to download stuff onto the iPod.
