Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Flogging Molly is the shiznit.

Are they Irish? More specifically, are they Northern Irish? "Rebels of hte Sacred Heart" doesn't sound like a peaceful song.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Whereas Flogging Molly sounds like the Tai Chi of the new millennium.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

Flogging Molly is the shiznit.

If they're Irish shouldn't they be the shiznite? Or perhaps the shizenit?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

You're all right, I completely mangled my Celtic Hip-Hop terminaology. Sorry.

Flogging Molly is actually from LA, oddly enough. The only Irish punk band that's actually Irish, afaik, were the Pogues. Black 47 are New Yorkers, and Dropkick Murphys are from Boston.

The Men They Couldn't Hang

More folky than punky, and, besides, British.
