It looks like somebody named Butterfly Boucher might be touring with her. (Or a band called Butterfly Boucher.)

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
So, did we know that John Kerrry was in a garage band at one time (I admit that I skip and skim)? The scandinavian newspapers today have stories about his days touring there. You can hear the band here:

I know it was included in the video biography that was played right before Kerry's acceptance speech at the convention.

Obviously, I skip and skim everywhere.

Yep. And I know the guy who has a copy of his vanity album who got the word out about it (Garage Rock expert, and owner of Arf Arf Records, Eric Lindgren).
Has anyone seen Sarah McLachlan this summer, or happen to know offhand if she's got an opener?

I think I came across Butterfly Boucher's website a long time ago. I think they're Frou Frou-ish. You'll like them, Lilty.
Anyone else notice that "Question" by the Old 97's is being used in a video game (Madden 2005 Football) commercial?
My sister told me about it. She thought I would be upset because I was upset with Jaguar using "London Calling."
I just have to say that the Angus Buffistamix CD is FG. I am worried, though, because I've listened to that AC/DC song about five times already. This is not consonant with my established musical worldview. In fact, I may owe my headbanging little brother an apology (but I draw the line at seeking out any Lita whatsername).
Anyway, it's been so long -- who do I send these off to? Joe B?
And everyone's heard the Postal Service cover of "Against All Odds," right? Right? It performs a total Phil Collins exorcism.
Heh. Weird. I see two shows this year, and Butterfly Boucher opens 'em both. She opened for BNL earlier this year (along with Gavin DeGraw, whom I was surprised to really enjoy). She was good, and now I'm at least familiar with her single and a decent cover she's got out.
