I just spent the last hour browsing the iTunes music store for the VERY FIRST TIME. This is going to be soooo bad. Because $.99 per song? Reasonable! And there are MILLIONS OF SONGS. I now know of what others have spoken - the allure, the addiciton, you want it? you got it. ONE CLICK BUYING.
We are such adaptable creatures - I'm already kind of liking the swoopy way windows disappear into the dock in OS X. Still pissed about having to rebuild all my playlists in iTunes though.
Starting in Feb. 1-in-3 bottles of Pepsi will win you a free song from iTunes. They're giving away 100 million songs! (They've only sold 30 million so far, IIRC.) Time to start stocking up on Pepsi.

Hey, Erin, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that your "Grits Ain't Groceries" song is not the George Jones song, but is the same song as Little Willie John's "All Around the World".
In fact, now that I think about it, I have the Little Milton song on the Oxford American 2003 Southern Sampler, and it IS the same song as the Little Willie John song.
