Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Is that a picture of you, bicyclops? You look a little like Al Franken. :)

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

That's exactly what I thought, Jon, though I bet bicyclops gets that a lot.

Say I have an MP3 of a song at home on my iMac. Is there a way to email it to myself and open it on a PC?

You might want to try uploading it to a website (or a yahoo briefcase or something) and then downloading it when you get home. That's what I used to do when I could download music at work.

Some of the music geeks at PF are intrigued by my liner notes on my blog, and have expressed interest in starting out own CD-go-round.

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me!

But my skin's not dark enough. I came in too late for the whole race-mixing / skin tone discussion on the Firefly thread the other day. Walter had to add a lot of red and darken my pasty white neck & arms to match Al's head.

The resemblance is uncanny, isn't it?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I really really want to print out a pretty picture for the cover, but the fact that my printer is down is going to preclude that. But I'll prep it for everyone interested and make it available for those who want to print it.

I'm at 16 songs and 60 minutes, I think I'll be fine on space.

The karmic retribution continues. I am having that common problem of knowing there are songs that fit a category, but not being able to think of any of them. I guess I will just have to listen to a ton of music of teh next 2 days.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Whew! The second attempt at burning a CD worked. Now I just have to get the packaging together, and I'm good to go.

hip deep in pie

I made a burn of mix mach one last night. One song sounds terrible, and I had problems copying it from CD, so I may try again, or pick another song.

I have decided at least two other songs must change. One is wrong for the mix, and the other ends weirdly because it segues into another song on the original album, and alone it just kind of stops, and you feel left hanging.
