The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I really really want to print out a pretty picture for the cover, but the fact that my printer is down is going to preclude that. But I'll prep it for everyone interested and make it available for those who want to print it.

I'm at 16 songs and 60 minutes, I think I'll be fine on space.

The karmic retribution continues. I am having that common problem of knowing there are songs that fit a category, but not being able to think of any of them. I guess I will just have to listen to a ton of music of teh next 2 days.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Whew! The second attempt at burning a CD worked. Now I just have to get the packaging together, and I'm good to go.

I made a burn of mix mach one last night. One song sounds terrible, and I had problems copying it from CD, so I may try again, or pick another song.

I have decided at least two other songs must change. One is wrong for the mix, and the other ends weirdly because it segues into another song on the original album, and alone it just kind of stops, and you feel left hanging.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Re-tweaked yet again. I'm back to ver. 1, with some editing of a couple of the songs, time-wise, which allowed me to add one more category, so I'm up to the unrequited love song category. Revised liner notes here. Total time: 79 minutes, 29 seconds.

My OS and iTunes are so old that I can't just equalize the volume by clicking a button, so I just played about a minute of each song and equalized them (or as close as I could get) individually.

CD is burned, liner notes are printed, and I'm off to the Post Office in an hour.

79 minutes, 29 seconds.

That was the exact time my mix turned out to be, Steph!

I take it back -- with the pauses between tracks, it's 79:50.

It's not kitty!

I am one song short on the base 20 and am giving it a first listen through. There is certainly no unifying theme or sound.

The liner notes are long and almost done also. I will finish it up tomorrow.

I am refraining from looking at other people's liner notes. While I don't want to have songs in common, I also want the mix to be the pure mix of what I came up with.
