A friend of mine burned me a copy of "Golden Throats" months ago, and I finally got around to listening to it. Shatner's "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is just about the funniest and most frightening thing I've ever heard.
Pray tell, what are MP3 blogs?
Mp3 blogs are blogs where people put up links to mp3 for you!
I like music.for-robots.com. No surprise there ... he links to a lot of interesting people, too ...
Now playing: Queen - "The Prophet's Song." Great song, if you like pretentious '70s rock.
I got it on iTunes, along with "I'm In Love With My Car" (featured in that Jaguar commercial).
Queen's A Night at the Opera was the first album I ever bought, when I was about 13. Good times.
Hec, you might enjoy this interview with Amanda Palmer. I think I want to use her pick-up line.
That is a brilliant line.
Ooh, the Raveonettes are fun.
P-C: You are probably the only person who's read that list of bands and gotten excited about the Raveonettes.
Lee Caulfield (ex-TTer and friend of many round these parts) has an excellent MP3 blog for classic soul and disco. The other one I really like is the very diverse Fluxblog.
The audio of my show Friday is now archived. Links to audio from my playlist.
Let me know if you have problems getting it to work.
