Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

RIO!!!

Ooh, good number!

Also:

or the Village Green Preservation Society reissue

Wow. That's quite a package.

Are you ready to be strong?

Interview is over. I don't think it went well. Grrrrrr, arrrrrgh.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm sorry. The important thing though is that you're still the prettiest and you have a fab haircut.

I love you, David, because you believe me and didn't say "I'm sure it went great!" because it didn't. But oh well. I'm gonna watch some TV now and take the rest of the day off. Wooo.

I love you too, Rio! But it's a selfish love because you're so pretty and fun. Feel free to drink and smoke your worries away.

I'm done drinking for the day. I had two glasses of wine, and it's not even dinnertime yet!

I'm gonna watch old Buffys now I think to console myself. Also "Starting Over."

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Wow. That's quite a package.

Why, thank you. Oh, the Village Green reissue. Yeah, that's impressive, too. (Sorry, I'm 12 all of the sudden.)

Sorry about your interview, Rio.

You should watch "What's My Line" - did you see that our wedding cake had the monkey pants quote on it? Which, in retrospect is about as geeky as wearing Klingon ears during your ceremony, but was really kind of a tossed off whim that cheered me up when the pastry chef was so gung-ho about doing it.

Of course! I love that! So so sweet. You guys are the cutest couple ever. Well you're even with Willow and Oz anyways.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

The monkey pants quote made everyone at the wedding giggle like gleeful small children. It was a thing of beauty.

The cover of this week's New Yorker has an illustration of Ray Charles on the $10 bill. I think that's the best idea ever.
