Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I can probably get her in touch with you...
t edit Where and when is the show?
Jon, that would be wonderful. The show will be July 30th at the Ottobar in Baltimore. It is usually fairly well attended and gets pretty good local press. We'd love to have someone who'd draw a good crowd and make more money for the shelter. They do amazing work here.
My profile address is good. Thank you so much.
Is it any weirder really than a cruise line using "Lust for Life"?
Let's see...
"Here comes Johnny Yin again /
With his liquor and drugs /
and his sex machine /
He's gonna do another striptease...."
I'd go on that cruise.
I'd go on that cruise.
Yeah, but I'm still concerned about the hypnotising chickens part.
Although it's a simile so I guess we're safe.

Safe from a simile? Oh tommy, you're so young and naive.
Gah! Kim, my co-editor, is going to do one of the Continuum 33 1/3 books about Aeroplane Over The Sea. She just wrote: And hey--Jeff Mangum says he'll participate in my NMH book! I might head down south to meet the principles.
So jealous! And yet also, really excited for her.
That's almost unbearably cool.

Well it's only a chicken simile. If it were a penguin or emu simile I'd be more concerned.
