I always feel like I'm in this weird gap between mainstream and indie, where the indie kids think I'm really uncool and mainstream people have never heard of the bands I like.
And thus did Joss begat Buffy.

I am ripping music from CDs right now. I realized I have to confirm something about a song before I can use it, so I just emailed the artist. wonder if I'll get word back in time. She's local and all, but still.
So am I going to be the only one in the game with a fairly mainstream (if eclectic) mix?

So i was going through my CD collection (which is rather frighteningly smaller than what I have on my computer), and realized I don't think I actually have any "local" music. Not local to DC, at least. Indiana, maybe a couple. Huh.
And I'm torn, because there are a couple artists where they have two songs perfect for two different categories, but I'm not about to put the same artist on twice...
