Good thing, DX, since I only gave you the one CD at the F2F! (Please tell me you still have it....)
Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Should I lie to you?
Uh-oh. Glad I didn't give you anything like a human heart. (Because, you know, you need to hang on to those.)
I have it.
No heart, though.
Great. You leave a human heart in the hospitality suite, and the hotel never wants to work with your group again. I bet the Baptist group didn't leave any vital organs behind.
Actually, I think I left it over by the White House. I remember thinking that a few of the folks over there could use one.
To sacrifice to the Old Ones, maybe.
Too late.
Also, that's where I got "Pete Rose Affinity" for my mix.
Woo hoo! Summer Hymns!
I just got the Destiny Dolls, and "The Jeep Song" is my current favorite song of all time.
As I was listening to the album this morning, I was struck by how much it reminded me of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, but somehow it's not as comfortable? acceptable? to listen to a women having those feelings of outsiderness, anger, and a light dusting of insanity.
