Okay. wednesday is the same, done at five. Woo! I'm excited.
'Hell Bound'
Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
If you're done at five, you'll probably get here around 7:30-8:00, and the opening act starts at 9:00, so we can either get a quick bite to eat if you want to see the opener, or take our time if you don't mind missing them.
You are more than welcome to crash at my place after the show, if you want to get up early the next day to drive back down. It'll probably be a LOT safer than driving back down at 12 or 1 a.m. t /Mom-ish
Thursday is some band called "Elf Power." I'm a little afraid.
Elf Power are great. They're a part of the Elephant 6 collective that included bands like Apples In Stereo, Neutral Milk Hotel and the Olivia Tremor Control.
Steph, insent.
Also an Elf Power fan.
Of course, reading the thing made me itch to get my hands on Frank Black albums, which I will be looking around for.
Teenager of the Year is the one you want.
'Kay. I'll look for them. I almost picked up a copy of Tori Amos's Under the Pink which I don't actually possess; there's a number of things I'm kind of scounting for, like Bjork, Jeff Buckley, Sade.
Okay, I rescind my Elf Power fear. The name just gave me images of fans in cloaks, with long shiny hair and a strange ethereal glow.

Quit picking on shrift.
I'm an Elf Power fan, too. As with most of the Elephant 6 bands, I assume their name is pretty much a joke.
SA, I have no e-mail from you. Did you send it to my profile addy?
