It's once every few years for me, too. I think too much Jojo might make him grate on me, and I don't want that to ever happen.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Arrrgghhh!.
I leave my house for 20 minutes for a stupid and unproductive meeting with a "career advisor" and I miss the mailman delivering Jon's mix and my uber cool comp CD!!!
See people. This is why trying to be good motivated job seeker is a bad idea.
Now I have to wait til tomorrow to pick it up. No more wasteful job hunting for me, I've learned my lesson.

"An Evening with...Siouxsie (Rescheduled) 26.03.04
Dear Gang, Friends & Fiends
It is with great regret & frustration that we are compelled to announce the rescheduling of this year’s “Evening with Siouxsie” tour dates.
The reason for this is that after her recent successful Sinus operation, Siouxsie has unfortunately contracted a ‘Secondary Sinus Infection’ just three weeks after being given the ‘All Clear’. We could have followed the accepted policy and waited another few weeks to see how the condition ‘responds to treatment’ before taking this decision, but we felt that the risk of having a shorter period of notice would be unfair on everybody.
We know some people have already made travel plans along with their ticket purchase & so we want to give everybody as much time as possible to alter those plans or to obtain refunds if necessary. It’s because we also want to give Siouxsie as much time as possible to make a full & complete recovery that we are rescheduling the tour to start in September.
The exact dates will be announced asap., along with all information regarding any refunds or ticket exchanges required.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this will cause and hope that everyone concerned will understand that it is Siouxsie’s 1000% commitment to her public & her music that has prompted this course of action.
Yours sincerely,
Budgie"
Poor, Jilli.
They'll be back, I promise. Maybe they can get Bauhaus to open for them. With Rasputina playing in the lobby. Maybe they can get Robert Smith to sit in with them on guitar again.
You're mocking me. Don't think I can't tell through my moping.

There's no mockage! What an unjust charge - I was only offering solace and a slim fanciful hope.

Well, okay then.
Well, okay then.

I keep forgetting to mention this...
Of interest to all West Coast buffistas with a taste for the dark and delectable, ACT has announced Black Rider on their schedule for next year. This is the german expressionst (imagine: silent movie goths) play that was a collaboration between Tom Waits, Wm. Burroughs and Robert Wilson.
I will be buying tickets.
Ooooh.
Of course, now I have to ask: what is ACT?
