Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Yeah, my comments aren't very erudite either. But I like to share my enthusiasm.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, my comments aren't very erudite either. But I like to share my enthusiasm.

"Jacques Derrida rocks!"

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm now earwormed with Scritti Politti. Hee!

hip deep in pie

I wrote comments, but they were mainly, "Me likey!"

But that's pretty erudite for me.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

I am playing the High Fidelity soundtrack, which I got for $2.30 today. It's keeping me from beating up my neighbors, which is probably in my best interest.

I still haven't got any CDs! Is PMM around at the moment? I think she's my official sender. I'm wondering whether she has my correct address.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I'm now earwormed with Scritti Politti.

Word, girl!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Angus, she's sent at least one:

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Anne W's CD was definitely defective, but I was able to extract the audio and re-burn it and now it's fine. I also normalized the song levels while I was at it (some were a lot louder than others). Kate - I sent you an email for your address so that I can send the new copy back to you.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

Jon, you probably already know this, but Television is playing Boston, Wednesday March 24th, at the Paradise. They'll be at Irving Plaza on the 25th & 26th with Martha Wainwright. Misha, any interest?

I was standing behind Tom Verlaine last night at the Strand. Didn't really get a good look at him until he was at the cashier, and I was at the cash register at the far end so I didn't get a chance to say anything. He's still thin, but no longer anorectic looking, so I wasn't sure it was him until I Googled some recent pics. Definitely was. Sorry I missed my chance to thank him for the great music.
