Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I wrote some notes, too, but they were mostly "What Teppy said..."

I look more rad than Lutheranism

they were mostly "What Teppy said..."

Well, that's okay, then. Obviously.

And they're now on their way to you, DX.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have Siouxsie tickets! I have Siouxsie tickets!

Not only that, but the new Rasputina cd comes out tomorrow, which means I'll have just enough time to listen to it before pestering my pet DJ to play something off of it for me on Wednesday night.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Your pet DJ should have had that Rasputina CD for weeks now.

Yes, he should have. But Instinct Records apparently lost his contact info. If he'd had the CD for weeks, he would have handed it over to me by now.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I've been writing comments! Well, a few, anyway.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I'm terrible about liner notes comments. In the short time I have the CDs, I haven't had reactions much more sophisticated than "this rocks" & "not my cup o' tea."

Now that's a handy pet to have around.

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

I am in such a rush to get the CDs off to the next person that I just burn them and add them to the ipod. I might have to do a big end-of-cycle wrapup post.

Oh, and msbelle? You will be glad to know I made DH laugh out loud when "Oh Daddy" came on the iPod Saturday night!

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

I've only seen two CDs so far, and haven't commented, if only because my comments would have all been some variation of " Omigawd! I love this song!"
