Speaking of splits, has anybody noted this week how freaking impressive it is that Prince can do a James Brown split in high heeled boots?

Dude, I've always said that Prince is a better dancer than Michael Jackson, ever since I saw him on, um, Solid Gold or somesuch. He accidentally knocked over his mic stand in mid lyric, and instantly dropped into the splits, caught it before it hit the ground, and came back up, all while still "singing."

And, BTW, the Bowie show I was supposed to go to in New Orleans? Sold out in about 20 minutes, before my buddy was able to get them. So, um, AARRGGHH!!!!!!!!

I'm listening a friend's copy of the Expanded Remix of Modest Mouse's last album The Moon and Anarctica right now (I know, you're all shocked). Damnit - it really is different from the original version which means I have to go buy it.

I am over 1100 posts behind in the Minear thread so I'll just say it here - I was impressed with the music they used for the first ep of Wonderfalls. I took note of several of the artists they plugged at the end. And then remembered I can't buy them - but still - impressed.
