Possibly the worst piece of music "journalism" I've ever read. Worth it for the byline at the end, though.

I went CD shopping yesterday, despite my extreme poverty. Bad habits are hard to break. But they were used! That's OK, right? I picked up a copy of Ani's Little Plastic Castles (I'm slowly replacing most of my old tapes on CD), as well as two Susana Baca albums, Espiritu Vivo and Vestida de Vida, and Massive Attack's Blue Lines. Yay new music!
