LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Maybe I will. Or tattoo it on my ass.

Tattooing is so 90s. Get it branded into your ass.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Eeep. Branding always makes me think that the brand-ee is a giant human steak.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

saw A Walk on the Moon, A Perfect Murder, and most of GI Jane (loved the first, meh on the second, really meh on the third) for Viggo.

Don't miss The Prophecy, in which Viggo does an Aragorn-esque turn as Lucifer.

I mean--you can see where some aspects of Aragorn came from. I think, anyway.

Also, American Yakuza. Not a brilliant movie, but illuminating for the Viggo.

Actually, human meat resembles pork much more closely than beef. But perhaps I've said too much.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Forgotten Silver has been spoken highly of by everyone I know who's managed to see it. Alas that it has not come my way.

I found Meet the Feebles unwatchable. But Dead Alive really does have it's moments in an over-the-top Grand Guignol way.
