And now the "keeping one's mouth shut for non-Buffista Firefly fans who have threatened BLOODY VENGEANCE if they're spoiled" begins.
Hear that? That's Alex's head exploding from the pressure.
Thank you for the info, he types calmly, while bellowing at his boyfriend sitting not 5 feet away...
Holy CRAP, Jen. It sounds amazing. Thank you.
Haven't read the whitefont yet, but glad it's there. I will probably hold out for an hour or so.
Couple of more technical questions, out of curiosity - aside from the oddness of the film that tommyrot mentioned, was it a finished film, or were there parts that were obviously not completed (special effects or sound effects blatantly missing, for instance)? Was the soundtrack complete (or did it seem that way)? Did they pass out opinion cards?
WHO ARE YOU SPOILING FOR?!??!??!
Read the whitefont?
Don't read the whitefont?

I'm about at the second don't read the whitefont. It's not that I don't want to be spoiled, I'm worried about too much overexposure between now and September.
I read the whitefont, and in some ways I'm glad I did, in a 'brace for impact' sort of way. OTOH, I'll regret not having the mega HSQ for a few moments.

Ah, the eternal dilemma of the spoiler companion... Nah, what am I saying. I'm always glad I read the whitefont.
I read the white font. Holy Crap!
I am so rattled by the fact that
they kill off Wash
that part of me really hopes that I only dreamed that I read that.
Are we
sure
that
Minear didn't write parts of this?
I can't believe it either Ann!
Not my Wash!
I was
starting to expect they'd all be dead at the end,
and I was thinking
so does this mean no sequel?
I'm glad I read that-- I'll be able to brace the non-spoiled fans in the household a little bit. The non-Buffyverse one especially might need reminding that
Joss believes in killing off important characters to show you that the danger's real-- shades of Jesse and Jenny, and Doyle, in those deaths. Makes you hear Wash's line from the trailer, "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die?" quite differently, too.
