Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I'm not used to spoiler threads, so correct me if I'm wrong ... we don't need to white font, right?

General rule is that over the summer, we WF because people lurk. Otherwise, free range spoiler area. No WF.

I think people are white-fonting ONLY stuff about the Pilot script, because not everyone has/will read it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ah. The header says no white fonting -- should that be altered?

It just seems strange to be playing gently in a hardcore thread.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

we are hard core!

no white fonts. if we didn't want to know, we wouldn't be here. :-)

I think y'all are very considerate tho. So I'm not being nasty to your considerate selves.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

What can I say? I'm gentle even when I pull out the cat o' nine tails.

And I was thinking, the original pilot isn't actually spoilers, inasmuch as it's clear some of the concepts have shifted since it was written, and we don't know whether and how much of the footage will be shown. It's, you know, alternate apocrypha, and I didn't want to confuse those who didn't want to be confused.

All right, no whitefont.

I've only had time to read about a third of the original pilot script, but I likes.

So, yeah, I'm always looking for chick-chick content, but I really do like the extra "connection" that Inara and Kaylee have in the OP. Hee!

But will that stay in the aired eps, or will they keep trying to make it all about UST between Mal and Inara?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

How does one get to the pilot script?

AICN has ep summary.

I didn't know that Joss wrote tonights ep.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It must be fun for Joss to write for a whole new set of characters. He must have dozens of character arc ideas that he would have loved to have tried on "Buffy" or "Angel" but that would not have fit the any of the characters on that show.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ita, you still reading this thread? do you still need a tape of the ep? I owe you one for a buffy tape so I can send it your way.
