Aeryn can be a special case.

Aeryn doesn't work for a military organization anymore, whereas hot alien chick would be, if she's on a mission.

Every offworlder ever looks like random illogical ass.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aren't they supposed to be stranded away from Earth clothing? I forget the premise of the series -- or does it stray into spoilery territory?

I dunno, ita, I was analogizing her to Teal'c, who is formally part of a military agency, although technically a civilian. And he's obliged to comply with military regulations regarding appropriate wear for the mission.

That was my first thought, but then I realised it contradicted my assumption that they weren't functionally part of the SG command structure because of isolation (did I mention the part where I'm completely confused -- I'd also read that RDA will be guesting on it, so who knows?). She may end up being more of a full-time Selmac. De facto, but not de jure.

I can't even work out how much I want to know.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

ita: I'm not sure, but I think you're right, they are cut off. Jack does guest in the opener, but that's before they all go off to... wherever they're going.

Okay, that makes sense.

Thanks. Also, yum, extra RDA.
