Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was analogizing her to Teal'c, who is formally part of a military agency, although technically a civilian.

That was my first thought, but then I realised it contradicted my assumption that they weren't functionally part of the SG command structure because of isolation (did I mention the part where I'm completely confused -- I'd also read that RDA will be guesting on it, so who knows?). She may end up being more of a full-time Selmac. De facto, but not de jure.

I can't even work out how much I want to know.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

ita: I'm not sure, but I think you're right, they are cut off. Jack does guest in the opener, but that's before they all go off to... wherever they're going.

Okay, that makes sense.

Thanks. Also, yum, extra RDA.

Flames wouldn't be eternal if they actually consumed anything.

Fanwank by fic, that's my motto.

An excellent motto! That's what fic is for - bringing canon up to snuff. :)

I can't even work out how much I want to know.

Me too. I read minor spoilers then try to forget them!

I think I have scurvy, in fact.

It's not just you... Sigh.
