Simon: You are my beautiful sister. River: I threw up on your bed. Simon: Yep. Definitely my sister.

'War Stories'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oh, Lordy. If they push the UST between you-know-whom from the episode 1, I'm gonna need extra supply of Gravol.

(One of folks involved in the kissage looks like Robert Patrick, with the other one being Dr. Weir. I say Patrick's character bites the dirt in the premiere. Who's with me?)

The hair, indeed, is unfortunate. The outfits even more so. I hope Jack gets thawed in time to meet the Aquarium folks and get his snark on.

One of the shots of a baddy with the back-lighting makes it look like the First Slayer from Restless, which for some reason is making me laugh and laugh.

I have a plan.

Noon all.

When does this premier again?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Two-hour premiere on July 16th. (Stargate will have its two-hour premiere on the 9th; there'll also be a Lowdown thingie, apparently about both of them, on July 5th. Which I must remember to set the TiVo to get, since I'll be in Alaska.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So Stargate's season is about 10 months long? I know I bitched about the midseason hiatus, but it seems okay now.

I think it started a little earlier last year, but then I also think I remember that SG's only doing twenty episodes this year, so maybe that's why.

Looks like the non-SG humans have been taking fashion tips from the Tok'ra. Sigh.

I swear, Willow's wardrobe team must have moved to Stargate, because man, the costumes bite. (Except for the tight black t-shirts...)

Man, they have pictures from every scene. I won't need to see the premiere.

Of course, so does the image of Daniel staring uncomprehendingly at a piano.

Aw, thanks, Jill. I thought it was odd, myself, hence the ficcing. Fanwank by fic, that's my motto. Although I've decided it's a furnished apartment.

I can't get over how hot I find them in fatigues. Loose, boring fatigues.

SG1 gets good clothes -- I like them in their civvies too.

Every offworlder ever looks like random illogical ass.

I already said that if they have Alien Chick go on missions with her bellybutton hanging out I may not be able to cope. Which is probably hypocritical of me, because I don't mind when Aeryn does it, but Aeryn can be a special case.

Oh, and I have to remind myself not to go to Gateworld. Their concept of Spoilers is not the same as my concept of Spoilers. I'm spoiled (so to speak) by the Buffistas.

(I would go on mission with my navel showing.)

(However, I wouldn't leave the house with that hair, even for non-martial outings)
