I particularly liked Aeryn doing the scientific investigation thing in the ep with frozen Rygel (I can't pretend to remember titles yet) - she had a whole, subtle, pleased with herself in an endearing way vibe going on. Like, "Hey, check me out. I'm smart. Go me." Also, my lawd she is just one of those naturally stunning women, isn't she? The kind where make-up, no make-up, hair done, hair in a ponytail - whatever - equally beautiful. Those eyes? Wow

Heh. That episode is Thank God It's Friday Again. Exploding Rygel Pee! Heee.

But yes, CB is stunningly beautiful. Wait till you see her cry. Oh, my.

Oh, and I love the exchange between Zhaan and Aeryn in the other ep on that disc (black hole weapon/time flash forwards) -- "What's the matter with him?" "He is Crichton."

Now I'm gonna go check how badly I'm butchering these character names ...

That first one doesn't look a thing like Welling to me, and Ross is usually spot-on with the realistic portraiture. It looks more like Jack Dempsey as Superman.

I agree with ita though—Webster would make an excellent choice, and is Olivier in comparison to Welling. I'd rather see Cain back than have the latter's face blown up 60' high in closeup where the similarities with the Mt. Rushmore figures would be inescapable.

Actually, Farscape managed to hang on to a pretty good arc/standalone balance right up to the end, I think.

Pretty much, more so than Angel, I think. But the characters remember, and the characterization evolves over time (unlike, for instance, Stargate *g*).

Thank god, or I'd never know what season it was.

... actually, even that doesn't help that much, just gives me a rough estimate of "early" or "late". ::shrugs::

Clearly the makeup & costuming people need to learn the fun of changing hairstyles to match the character's emotional states, like on Farscape. S2 Crazy!Hair, S4 Glamour Eyebrows, and so forth.

And Jack had that really hot period, S3-5!

To be fair, there has been some character development, particularly when it comes to Daniel. (Jack too, but as Jack's character development is at least somewhat tied to a decrease in IQ, I try to ignore it as much as possible.)
