Xander/Giles ,'Never Leave Me'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

And Teal'c's face slowly loses that I-smell-something-foul look.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yes! Which CJ must have been incredibly grateful for.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Indeed.

Thrive to spite them

I can't remember right now, but I think this is the thread where the BatFamily discussion has been (if I'm wrong I'm sorry it's late and I'm kind of blurry).

I picked up my Batgirl Year One the otehr day and am slowly working my way through it. And while I was there I wanted to pick up a few issues of Batman.

Except I didn't realise that there are several Batman titles. So, Ple, anyone, which title should I start with? (Batman Year 1 will be my next big purchase).

All is well that ends in pizza.

Maybe Adam Baldwin can play Superman...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The Core Four (now that you've got the one you've got)

Batman: Year One
Robin: Year One
Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying
Robin: A Hero Reborn

After that, pick up Long Halloween and Dark Victory for early Bats, more early Dick!Robin. Hmm. Then I consult my bookshelf.

What all do you have now?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

What all do you have now?

I'm fond of "No Man's Land," despite the kind of implausible plot and the fact that it's five books long.

They totally evolve. Sheesh.

You keep telling yourself that, Jen. *grin*

I was convinced there was a plot-related reason for Aeryn's makeup in season 4. Turns out her makeup artist was bored. Sigh.

Heh, heh. But, but ... sigh, yeah, I got nothin'. But it's OK, because I lurves 'em. So cute and static. Except for Teal'c (well, he's cute still) with the expaning vocabulary and expressions. And jokes.

Also ... now that I've read the J/D, I'm examining everything through a new lense, and that is both cracking me up and being really distracting. I still don't really see it, but I do find myself grinning quite a bit (more, and in new places) during some of the eps. I am so suggestable. It's scary.

Oh, dear. Heh.

You should read Hal's "My First Stargate Story". I bet Dana has a link...
