And thinking of it now - there was PLENTY of sexual tension between the original Starbuck and Apollo.

B.G. was my absolute favorite show as a kid. I SWORE I was going to name my first daughter Casseopia.

I don't like the idea of Starbuck as a girl. Is she gonna be big ho? Because Starbuck was all about the easy lay.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Has anyone found a decent OC transcript site? Because I've decided that I really need an exchange from last week's ep, and of course I've already trashed the file, and Google is giving me no love (but giving me repeated hits on an ugly-assed site with exactly one transcript up).

Sigh. I've been so spoiled by fandoms full of obsessive geeks with actual skills.

What exchange do you need, amych? Mebbe Kat and/or ita and/or tina f. have committed it to memory?

t etf spelling, and note that I don't know of any transcript sites

I've been so spoiled by fandoms full of obsessive geeks with actual skills.

Yesterday I was searching for Jane E.'s next GG ep. Nada. Then I realized GG doesn't really lend itself to the obsessive geeks who build spoiler sites.

I have been able to find one transcript for ep 2 of the O.C. and that is it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

smonster is also uncannily retentive in that regard.

Same one I found, tina. And, yeah, we really are spoiled by the culture of Jossverse fans including ourselves.

Anyway, the exchange (and, are we surprised at all?) is the one in the kitchen at breakfast, where Ryan is talking about wanting to find some kind of extracurricular activity to go out for in order to get more involved in school. Seth has come in the middle of the scene, but before this. Anyway, Sandy says something like,

Sandy: What about Archery? The Harbor School is really good at Archery!
Seth: Archery, dad?!
Sandy: Or fencing!
Seth: Dad, your Jewishness has doomed me to a life of unathletic blah blah...

or something to that effect.

And, umm, yeah. Me, laughing my ass off. Like there's any big surprise there.

tina, did you see this ep guide for GG? It sometimes has spoilers, at least a few casting spoilers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. I thought of you, amych, when I saw that scene. Seth makes some rejoinder about picking something from this century I think before he blames judaism for his incipient geekery.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

OH Amych. hold on. I have that quote.

Like I said, not a surprise.
