A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Condolences Megan.

Thanks for all the fish.

Megan, I tried to mail you, realised I don't have your e-mail address in my entirely empty address book...

Anyway, I am sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do for you?

JohnSweden - Sep 25, 2003 6:18:30 am PDT #3795 of 6793
I can't even.

Sorry to hear that, Megan. Condolences to you and your family.

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

Sorry, Megan.

No ratings on Space site that I can find, anyway. Damn Curiosity.

Yesterday I had to answer questions from the dread Purveyors of Pogy, and today I got the same damn ominous 'decision rendered soon' letter in the mail. As processes go, I've undergone far less nerve wracking ones, I'm here to tell you.

On the plus side, after being almost run down like a dog on the crosswalk last night, escaping only due to the fact that yes, I am a ninja, I discovered that at some point my bank account turned into one that will let me overdraft, so hey, that can be exchanged for life sustaining goods and services. Hooray! And a further hooray for run on sentences.

Thanks for all the fish.

Yay for overdrafts... You should find out how much they charge you for that. My banks charges me $5 for going over, and I'm a valued customer.

Stupid EI.

5 bones is what it is, but I'm a have to live with it. On the other plus side, I'm getting a free computer desk from the hospital today, which will free up my table for much needed geekliness. We're very furniture deficient at the moment, but we're scoring some other free stuff from a coworker of my roomate's who's moving away. Couch ahoy!

Thanks for all the fish.

Hospital? They giving away stuff?

You lemme know about reference sending.

Thanks for condolences everyone.

Anyway, I am sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do for you?

This wasn't a big surprise and I wasn't really close to her so I'm mostly fine, other than feeling bad for my dad, though he seems to be taking it quite well. I think he's had a lot of time to prepare since she's been in a nursing home with Alzheimers and no quality of life for the last 6 years or so.

Apparently as 1 of her only 2 grandchildren (my sister is the other) my dad wants me to say something at the service. I'm at a loss so if anyone has any funeral appropriate ideas, I'm open to suggestions.

Elena, I think my profile email is fine.

Thanks for all the fish.

Oh, yes, of course... Your profile. How logical.
