5 bones is what it is, but I'm a have to live with it. On the other plus side, I'm getting a free computer desk from the hospital today, which will free up my table for much needed geekliness. This wasn't a big surprise and I wasn't really close to her so I'm mostly fine, other than feeling bad for my dad, though he seems to be taking it quite well. I think he's had a lot of time to prepare since she's been in a nursing home with Alzheimers and no quality of life for the last 6 years or so.
Apparently as 1 of her only 2 grandchildren (my sister is the other) my dad wants me to say something at the service. I'm at a loss so if anyone has any funeral appropriate ideas, I'm open to suggestions.
