'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Amazon says season four is out on June 8.

Thanks Jon. I guess they were anticipating that Fray would be even later than it was.

Sulk. My boss isn't in today so I can't quit. Also this morning I was reminded that there's a conference in the first week of June where they're supposed to be presenting the stuff I'm working on, so I probably can't leave in two weeks. Oh well, at least it's only another two weeks. Still, I am not happy about either of these things.

That sucks Ouise. I hope your boss returns soon so as not to prolong the agony.

So, today when I was walking to work, the TV at the cogswell tower elevators was tuned to CTV Newsnet. On the ticker at the bottom of the screen it read:

U.S. upset at PM's marijuana decriminalization plans

Guess our relations are again on a slipperly slope.

Blame Canada!

A person's concepts should exceed their vocabulary, or what's a metaphor?

Please excuse the American while he cheers on the PM for upsetting the US.

Oh, Canada!

Well they've been unhappy with the pot thing for a while. I guess we are Soviet Canuckistan with our liberal pot laws and our strict gun laws.

I hope so, too!

I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats, desperate to find out what happens next in the sweeping saga "Louise quits her job." My boss is in now (I went to the library to look out the window opposite his office. Skulking-R-US. I emailed him to say that I wanted to have a talk with him - when would be convenient. He answered "tomorrow AM". So there we have it.

I also ran into a friend of my mother's earlier, who has taken an interest in my career. I'm going to drop by his office tomorrow afternoon to chat about some possibilities.
