Sue, are you free? You can bring your friend, too. Unless she would find us strange and off-putting.
I would bring her, but on my birthday she was the person who went into the kitchen and talked loudly while some others of us were trying to watch Firefly. It was all I could do not to yell down the hall and tell her to shut-up.
I've seen Sarah Harmer live before and she is enchanting.
Haunted premieres tonight on Space at 10pm (one day earlier than on UPN in the US). Ouise, I think I remember you saying that you might want to watch that. I'm taping since I don't know when I'll be back from l'aeroport.
OH MY GOD! I just choked on my pesto pasta. I was reading the cast descriptions on the Haunted web site on www.upn.com and the villian ghost guy is played by the John Mann lead singer of Spirit of the West! What the frell!?
DH's flight is delayed 1 hour so guess who's watching Buffy! ME!
That was the longest "previously" I've ever seen!
Wormy demon looks like a penis with teeth.
Spike's and Anya's demon makeup looks kinda bad.
Spike! Burning Spike!
I have to go to the airport now... that was a very, very strange episode.
I enjoyed the last image of Spike, though. Burning on the cross. Brought bad memories of
Restless
, no?
As for the rest. I dunno....
I think that Xander would have
done
something when Spike hit Anya.
I was really reminded of James Marsters' theatrical experience during the last scene. The director and/or cinematographer (is that just for movies?) must have had fun with the imagery there.
I enjoyed the episode, although I was kind of disappointed that it didn't have Halfrek exposed as Cecily, which I was expecting from the title. Sigh.
I thought Anya looked way better with the retro look of this episode.
