You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why would Amy have to know about the Slayerettes in order to set her revenge spell on Willow

She wouldn't have to, at all. I just thought it indicated she was lying, and that made Kennedy suspicious.

And her motivation (Willow has all the power)?

See, I thought it was remarkably similar to Willow's attitude -- magic makes you cool, the one with the most power is the coolest. She just took it to the high school level of let me humiliate you and then I win! She has some catching up to do.

Let's see, repair a chip that will degrade again in two years and which has been shown to have no effect when FE takes over ole Spikey, or remove the chip from soul!Spike and never have to worry about it again.

I don't think Spike wants it out, but I bet he wants Buffy to want it out.

Our wings are not tired.

I have to admit that the "previouslies" startled the hell out of me.

Oh yeah. But I really enjoyed the episode. I thought it was well paced and edge of seaty.

I always thought that Giles was alive (unspoiled but optimistic), but I thought the scene played well.

I don't like Kennedy but I bought her interaction with Willow. Of course I was shouting shoot her, but that is just me.

The army guy stuff was wierd and think could have been written better. Agree that Spike is not going to be happy about losing his chip. Huh.

Things are progressing well, I am looking forward to watching it again tonight. I will have to adjust the brightness to see stuff though.

Our wings are not tired.

Also, how pissed at Amy is Willow going to be? Will we be seeing her again? These questions and many more will be answered on the next... or will they?

I hope the broadcast is less invisible. Their DOP is no Joel Ransom (XFiles, who had many scenes lit only by flashlights, but flashlights so damned heavy the cast complained).

Wouldn't you think that Spike wouldn't be quite so night blind?

And I'm disappointed the Giles thing's been cleared up.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Wouldn't you think that Spike wouldn't be quite so night blind?

Nodding emphatically.

hip deep in pie

I hope the broadcast is less invisible. Their DOP is no Joel Ransom (XFiles, who had many scenes lit only by flashlights, but flashlights so damned heavy the cast complained).

It was impossible to make out what was really happening on screen, I found.

Wouldn't you think that Spike wouldn't be quite so night blind?

The funny thing was that on Sunday, I watched the Season 3 ep. (Earshot?) where Giles and Buffy are training, and Giles blindfolds Buffy to get her to learn to sense opponents in the dark. I was thinking last night, "That training's gone down the toilet."

Our wings are not tired.

I watched it on my computer screen because I was somewhat doing other things at the same time and adjusting the brightness in the viewer helped somewhat. A more relaxed viewing is envisioned for this evening.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

As I said before, LOVED the ep (probably, in part, because I expected to hate it like a thing that is hated.)

One thing I wanted--which Thessaly thinks might have been too much--was to have a visible-only-to-her FE as Rack hovering behind Amy., whispering evil suggestions in her ear. But still, I was there. More later. Must do dishes now.

Also, how pissed at Amy is Willow going to be?

I kept waiting and waiting and Waiting for Kennedy to tell Willow "It was Amy". Just 3 little words.. "It was Amy". I know that these things get covered off screen, but it would have been nice to see Willow's reaction.
