I watched it on my computer screen because I was somewhat doing other things at the same time and adjusting the brightness in the viewer helped somewhat. A more relaxed viewing is envisioned for this evening.
'The Girl in Question'
Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness
[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!
As I said before, LOVED the ep (probably, in part, because I expected to hate it like a thing that is hated.)
One thing I wanted--which Thessaly thinks might have been too much--was to have a visible-only-to-her FE as Rack hovering behind Amy., whispering evil suggestions in her ear. But still, I was there. More later. Must do dishes now.
Also, how pissed at Amy is Willow going to be?
I kept waiting and waiting and Waiting for Kennedy to tell Willow "It was Amy". Just 3 little words.. "It was Amy". I know that these things get covered off screen, but it would have been nice to see Willow's reaction.

I hope we do get to see it ... I'm thinking Kennedy is more obsessed with Willow right now, and not thinking. Plus she doesn't know the history. At the very least, Amy needs to get booted from the kumbayah circle. Whose lead was kinda hot, plus there was at least one guy.
Rack would make an awesome FE.

Exactly. I was shouting it too. Of course Willow is not supposed to get all vengeancy. Once again AH did such a great job with the emotional breakdown. I just ached for her.
Just saw the episode (SO's mother took us to Fireside for dinner to celebrate SO's B-Day) and have to agree that it was very poorly written indeed.
Cap'n Cardboard was completely unbelievable as Willow and left me pining for the Baith/Fuffy switch. The chemistry was completely missing between Willow and Kennedy, the writing was poor, the show dragged for me and, in short, it left me feeling as flat as a mostly empty 2-litre of ginger ale that's been sitting in the car for a month.
I loved the plot points, some of the resolution setup, etc. But how it got there was bad at best. Not one of the episodes I'm going to need to watch again.
YOMV
In other news, my travels back to the US look like they're getting pushed back so I expect to be in town for the rest of the month.

FYI, Captain Cardboard is code for R*ley, who we saw in the Previouslies, not Warren.

Oh, my bad. Personally, I saw more capability for emotion and good acting in Riley than I did in Warren. While the Trio saga was playing out, I hoped it was just his character. But no, it would appear to be nothing more than poor acting skills on the part of the performer. Man, that guy almost makes Young Anakin Skywalker (either performer) look like he has depth and range.
I liked Warren as Willow. I thought he did a good job of slipping from one character to the other as "Willow" was slowly taken over by Warren's personality.
