To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I thought the demon wearing a person suit wasn't quite right.

Now, maybe the slayerness is tied to having a soul, which would be a good precaution to take, but I don't think we've been shown info either way.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I thought the demon wearing a person suit wasn't quite right.

This reminds me of MiB--the Edgar suit!

What I love most about you core whores: the foreplay .... tina F.

big nummer, Ita

I have to admit that I didn't really watch very much after that. I skimmed, and tried to keep up .... especially after the 'romance' began. But I felt SMG might have been a tad more dominant ...... maybe even tap on the anger in her RL. Or rmaybe Freddie just was overwhelmingly satisfying.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The mirror image of my scenario held true though - when Darla was resurrected with a human soul but without the demon that had been her essence as a vampire, it was also without the strength associated with vampirism.

Way back when, I'd wondered if being a Slayer might immunize one from being turned entirely. But both Dracula and Angelus seemed to think it was possible. And given the situation Angelus was trying it in, I don't think he was anticipating a pissed-off former Slayer that would be even more powerful than he.

But, if she lost her soul in the process, I don't see her being pissed off, anymore than Dru is pissed at Angelus for torturing her before vamping her. She worships him because he is her sire.

It's iffy... remember that scene with the holy water in "What's My Line"? Sounded like a bit of a grudge being held to me, albeit over her slain relatives rather than what he did to her personally.

Still, the odds probably would have been good for Faith becoming a partner in crime rather than continuing to kick his ass.

Actually, I don't. Care to remind me?

Actually, I don't. Care to remind me?

How can you forget that scene? Angel chained up and shirtless? Dru pouring holy water on him while talking about her family and watching smoke rising off his burning flesh?

I am not sure I have seen it. I came in on S6 and have watched nearly every episode since then, but I have missed a few.
