Also, I never thought of Buffy being particularly wrathful towards Spike in Entropy. In fact, I thought she pretty much went to save him (even if she would have smacked him around a little if Xander hadn't been trying to kill him).
Yep this is where I am exactly. I think seeing them on the monitor stunned and shocked and hurt her, but I don't think she'd have done much about it had Xander not gone to kill him.
I think his "good enough for Buffy" was all those things. It was calling Xander off Anya, it was a dig at Xander, it was letting out his and Buffy's "dirty little secret."
I'm assuming a Spoldemort is the kind of S/B shipper that pisses most everyone here off, even and perhaps especially people like me, who love the S/B themselves and don't get the whole "Buffy is an evil using bitch" thing.
Susan, that's my assumption too, but it would be clearer if I knew who the hell Voldemort was.
Can someone explain to one who's stayed out of the whole Harry Potter thing?
eta - that is where it's from, right?
He is the baddie who's often referred to as He who can't be named or something.
Spike/Pacey is spacey.
in a show called "Buffy" the feeling that I was starting not to like Buffy was a big downer, too.
I've been watching season four episodes like "Living Conditions" and "Pangs" and the fact that Buffy turned out so cold-hearted is making me like her less even when she looks happy and funny.

Maybe he should get together with Glory.
Thing is everyone talks about what made them not like Buffy anymore. For me I never liked the character of Buffy from S1 on. I mean sure there were times I really felt for her (Prophecy Girl, Innocence, Becoming, The Body, The Gift) but to me she was always that girl that wouldn't give a guy like me(Xander) a chance. I always held that against her, because even though she was part of the outsiders in high school(according to Cordy and the Cordettes) she still came across as nose stuck in the air better than Xander.
I still resent her for turning him down in S1.
Anyone understand where I am coming from? Didn't think so.
I might just be the only B/X'er still out there that is pissed off that it didnt ever happen.
Gleebo, you're not alone. Xander deserved a shot.
I started watching Buffy in S6 while also watching the reruns on FX. I liked the character of Buffy right from the start. I could understand where she was coming from.
Aww, see I felt for them both. I think she was pretty comfortable with him as a friend (a much needed friend with all the crap she was dealing with), and just couldn't move him to the love interest place. I think she felt bad about it too, when she realized how different his feeling for her were.
I think she probably knew there was a bit of a crush, but I don't think she knew how deep it was.
