"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

If Halfrek was getting her vengeance on in the Crimean War (1854-56, thank you, Google), she'd have already been a demon in 1880.

This is where the continuity of Halfrek and Cecily doesn't match up for me. In "Lies my Parents Told Me" Williams mother refered to Cecily as either being the daughter of such and such or of the such and such family. I don't remember which. If she had alreadhy been a vengance demon for over twenty-five years, would she still be associated with a family in London?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Well, if you take Daniel's idea, and the ability of vengeance demons to create a persona/family for themself, it could be plausible.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Well, if Vengence Demons can alter timelines, insinuating themselves into victorian society wouldn't be a problem. Even without warping, all you really would need is to have the "daughter away at school" be replaced with Halfrek.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

On Cecily and Halfrek-I just thought that was a meta joke for Buffy fans because they used the same actress.

Wanking aside, I believe this has been confirmed.

I'm old school. Like Happy Shopper.

See, I could accept this if they'd had Spike see Halfrek and think she was Cecily, but they did it the other way around, which seems like it should have lead to something more.

Wanking aside, I believe this has been confirmed.

I remember seeing this, too. And that the "William" was just a inside-joke sort of thing for the fans. I put this in the same category of "won't it be funny for the fans if we have Giles not touch things and everybody thinks he is evil."

eta: to be clear - I mean the category that is called "Just stick to being regular funny ME writers, and not giving us inside joke crap - unless it's a leather pants shout out of course"

Like Giles not touching things.

Yeah, the, umm... shout outs sort of sucked ass.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Worst. Shout-out. Ever.

Which one the Giles one or the Halfrek/Cecily one?

And as much as I love Ultimate Drew - what the hell was that lame shout out he gave? a telephone repairman or something. C'mon.
