Actually, what makes me angry is why AB turned it down.
Everything I've read said she loved the character and the show, so the question becomes why didn't she come back? Other than some webshow for BBC I can't what else she did this last year.
The Frickin' Kittens. They were so happy she was leaving the 'evil' show and getting far away from the 'Bad' Joss. Several members followed her around her LA appearances. She may have decided going back to the show wasn't worth the crap.
And that would make me angry. That fans got so obsessed that they changed the show because of anger and fear to the detriment of others.
I have nothing but bad, bad words to say about the Kittens.
It really had nothing to do with Kittens, at all.
(I still think it's all bullshit, and there was never a Tara in S7 for AB to turn down.)

I don't know if this was to me or CaBil, but my bad words for the Kittens have nothing to do with CaBil's post. I just don't like them.

I agree with Jess.
Jessica, if a talking cantaloupe had been planned as the Big Bad, but the cantaloupe's negotiations fell apart, I'd believe it. If they told me that the reason that Giles couldn't touch stuff was because the snowcone conjugated a bean dip, I'd have to buy it. Why? Because the season was tossed together with all the cohesion of baby snot.
See, it's because Buffy was ressurected that the Eye of Botox legume fish burlap sack. Look! Over there! 48 girls in stupid hats beating up ubervamps that could not be killed 16 eps ago!
mutter mutter

Less actually. (Messy!Co-worker has baby with cold - that shit's purty sticky.)
And yet, I am still mad about not watching a re-run right now. Also mad at still being at work right now.
Oh, ITA, Allyson, but this specifically sounds too much like the Wild at Heart commentary for me to take it even a little bit seriously.
I agree that it sounds like bullshit. According to interviews with Amber, she turned down CWDP because she didn't want Tara to come back as the First. This Joss interview was the first I'd heard of a planned actual Willow/Tara reunion. If that had been the proposed storyline, it seems like Amber would have jumped at it.
Somebody (Amber or Joss) is full of shit, and the fact that there is a shooting script of CWDP that has Tara in it seems to support Amber's story.
If Joss made even a bit of sense ... but he doesn't. It didn't even read like he was trying. Which, as Allyson might contend, fits in with S7. Or as I might, fits in with the idea that ASH films with no pants on.
