I can't even.

Agreed. Tom seemed to be very popular with the cast, and seems like a very funny, charming guy.

I guess I just double-took, what with the intense foaminess of AH/AD pairing. Was Alexis out of town this week? (I also plead having met all three parties in meatspace [PBP] and having a bit of cog/diss over seeing Tom adjacent and not AD).

I 've been hands under the shirt, over the bra, Calvins in a wad on the front seat with some S7 Buffy spoilers - but we never went all the way ~tinaf

Tom looks very good in those shots, and AH just seems to be getting better with age. I always thought she was a cutie even when people seemed to feel otherwise, but now she's just advanced into Just Gorgeous. I wish growing up were having that effect on me, I seem to just be getting disgruntled and drowing my sorrows in chocolate.

So I went on over to ebay to find that knife...hee...and found this

What in the name of sweet merciful crap would anyone do with that? I mean. seriously.

Although I have to admitt I wouldn't mind shelling out for that signed script they have up...but not for 6 grand. Where do these people work? Or are they mortgaging their homes and selling their children for buffy memorabilia?

That said, Oz's guitar was a pretty sweet item, although I would have only thought about bidding on it had SG signed it. And probably not even then since it went for $1600 unsigned. The insanity.

I. Don't. Want. To. Think. About. It. I mean, even the tame 'they want to play dress ups and re-enact Double-Meat Palace' explanation is scarring.

Going back to Allyson was nice.

I had missed you when you went away. I'm extraordinarily antisocial, but it was nice to have the peaceful sort of company that also sat in front of the computer and television and understood the importance of a hot cup of tea.

It was nice to have my place back to me, but there was no obnoxious incompatibility going on. The dishes were done and the bathroom stayed clean, and someone signed for my packages. My cat is an ignorant fuck, and does none of these things. She's a terrible guest.

I'm not much in the way of overgenerously offering internet folk a place to stay, but over the months of quiet rage and desperation I was reading your posts re: the Michigan Sitch, it really spoke to how I was feeling back in Boston, the need to RUN VERY FAR AWAY AND START OVER. And I knew it was bad in that you showed up with a packed car and a duffle bag full of clothes and were just grateful for the futon and chance to let the bullshit evaporate from your soul. Sometimes things get so bad that you have to dry out your soul and replenish. I had been there, and someone had taken me in while I got my shit together, and so, the karma wheel, it turns.

ita and Allyson: the new OTP. Their love is so pure. sniff

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Up with the sun

I was shocked to see that season one got the most votes for least favorite season?!

Proabbly because people don't really remember it, so it's easy to put it there. I know that's why I did it.

And I think Giles and Jenny were grown-ups, with a grown-up relationship -- which yes, would have included The Sex at some point. But it rang false to me that Xander never slept with Cordy, given how physical their relationship was and that Cordy dated a LOT of guys and apparently wasn't a virgin before "Expecting." So I'm probably insane anyhow.

and Tom Lenk is a cutie.

Let me just say that popularity with people on public transportation does not equal literary respect. --Jesse

But they were in high school. A lot of high schoolers do major "heavy petting" but don't go all the way. It seemed reasonable to me.

I put S6 in last, because I still hate the direction it took, but I think the reason S1 ended up there overall instead of, say, S6 or S7 is that the later seasons have vocal defenders to balance it out, while I've never heard of anyone who thinks S1 is the Best Evah.

(IIRC, I voted S2, S3, S4, S5, S7, S1, S6. S7 jumped ahead of S1 by going out with a bang.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I very much got the impression they were rounding in on that. And I don't think the grown-up and The Sex are mutually dependent.
