You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

All I thought about was the destruction of the family photos (which would be the one thing I'd grab if I had to jump out of the window to escape a fire).

That is the single most common answer to the question of "what would you try to save from the house in a fire."

People want to save their photos. They consider everything else replacable, provided all people make it out.

The Class Protector Award.

Didn't that get broke? Did we ever see if she kept it anyway?

I bet she kept it. Even if it was in a box.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

OZ!

I'm sure they stuck some things on the bus. Mr. Gordo is on the bus.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Someone said in an LJ that Buffy's last line of dialogue was "I love you, Spike."

Make of that what you will.

Boy, that's not a stretch at all, is it.

"I love you"

[Spike dialogue]

[Buffy runs up stairs, out of highschool, across nine or twelve buildings, leaps to bus, rides for a couple of more miles]

[Jumps down from bus]

[Other characters say some stuff]

"Spike"

Hey, yup, there it is.

Nobody

Anyway, for me the only major failure of the season was it's treatment of the core characters. I wanted this season to be loaded with resolution, not just the last episode but many loose plot or interpersonal threads. Throughout the season. When it's time for closure tripling the size of the speaking cast is not a good idea. Ultimately I felt short changed on Willow, Xander and Giles.

Yes. Xander, in particular, deserved better. Giles, I can rationalize, because the actor requested his recurring status. Willow's had plenty of attention paid to her over the years. I think this is my problem with Kennedy. It's not that I hate the character per se; I resent the amount of time I heard her talk, when I wanted to be hearing one of my kids talk.

5) I'd have paid good money to have had just one last scene before the Grr Argh!:

A man carrying a backpack stands at the lip of the Sunnydale Crater. He has obviously walked a long way to get here and now facing the desolation he is practically dumbfounded. His face shows a little confusion and possibly regret. His eyebrow raises -

OZ - "Oh."

That's priceless.

oh no - now I want an Oz spin-off

Thrive to spite them

3) Anya would have died killing Caleb. Vengeance Demon Champion of Women vs The Ultimate Misogynist.

Yes. This is the way she should have died.

And she will never get a proper grave, she's just under the rubble somewhere, left lying in the rubble and it's not fair.

The Husband of the Voice of Reason is brilliant.

I must be the only one. I just can't bring myself to be sad that Anya died.

Okay. Going to re-watch now. Since I watched it with Mom last night, and she's not nearly as invested in it as the average Buffista, I think that kept me from getting more caught up and teary.

Expect me back in 45 minutes, sniffling and babbling about spinoffs.
