You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hmm. Guess that means I'd better start using the quickedit instead of specifying font color, huh?

hip deep in pie

Can't we go with a plurality as opposed to a run off?

What's our rule? I can't even remember, and didn't want to hunt up the cheesebutt, again.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think cable & network drama should be combined. It seems like an artificial distinction to me.

There is none. It's up to the proposer to decide how to handle multi-choice ballot questions. I would strongly encourage a runoff, however. Decisions by plurality can have wacky consequences.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Go preferential! Choose preferential!

Jon, I've thought a lot about that, but decided to keep them separate.

I suspect drama programming is going to inspire the most discussion. Having two drama threads will make them each a little smaller and more conducive to discussion. I didn't want to get into defining drama cateogries (procedurals, action-adventure, etc.) because sometimes it's a gut-call as to which show goes where.

Can you help me with Sue's question? I can't remember how we ended up deciding on majority/plurality/etc. Personally, I'd rather go with "the most votes win," but I think I lost that battle long ago and far away.

Sorry, that was an x-post.

Plurality = most votes wins?
