I think cable & network drama should be combined. It seems like an artificial distinction to me.
Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
What's our rule?
There is none. It's up to the proposer to decide how to handle multi-choice ballot questions. I would strongly encourage a runoff, however. Decisions by plurality can have wacky consequences.
Go preferential! Choose preferential!
Also, what Jon said wrt network and cable.
Jon, I've thought a lot about that, but decided to keep them separate.
I suspect drama programming is going to inspire the most discussion. Having two drama threads will make them each a little smaller and more conducive to discussion. I didn't want to get into defining drama cateogries (procedurals, action-adventure, etc.) because sometimes it's a gut-call as to which show goes where.
Can you help me with Sue's question? I can't remember how we ended up deciding on majority/plurality/etc. Personally, I'd rather go with "the most votes win," but I think I lost that battle long ago and far away.

Sorry, that was an x-post.
Plurality = most votes wins?
Hello?
Yes, that's it.
Would it complicate matters too much to say for each thread:
a) NAFDA no future spoilers, no white font
b) White font
IF white font prevails,
a) 24 hours after show airs on the west coast
b) White font for three days after show airs on the west coast
c) White font for one week after the show airs on the west coast
I've thought a lot about that, but decided to keep them separate.
Okay, next question: Can I vote No on question 1 and still vote on the other questions (on the assumption that the first one will pass anyway and I still care about the blackfont). Or is this an "if you picked yes, go on to the next four questions" dealie?
brenda, do you think there would be a difference in outcome? I'll change it, if it seems worthwhile.
Yes, amy, you can vote against the experimental threads, but still vote on the white font policy for them. I totally get that someone who is against the experiment might still want some control over how it's conducted.
