Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!

We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!

Your tag here.

Ok, I'm withdrawing the suggestion. Further pummelling not required. Carry on, carry on, nothing to see here.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Eddie, thanks for the offer, really. It just doesn't suit our needs, I think.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Offhand, I kind of like the idea of a dedicated place to discuss some of the new stuff out there. But once I think about it, I really can't see a way to do it without it becoming way more trouble than it's worth. The prospect of the spoiler/whitefont discussion alone is giving me hives. And the question of what happens post-thread - either at the end of the fall season or the end of the year, whichever - could be a huge morass.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Yeah, I tend to think if you're going to have this you might as well just have TV Natter and be done with it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Well, what about a TV Natter?

§ ita § - Aug 26, 2005 3:58:01 am PDT #5928 of 10289
Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So what are the spoiler rules for a TV natter?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

would it change from regular Natter? What are the rules for regular Natter?

Whitefont current season discussion.

It'll change from regular Natter if you want it to.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So every tv discussion in Natter is white-fonted?

Interesting. I guess the only change to this I would suggest is that discussion should remain white fonted until 7:00 a.m. ET the day after the show airs. It would be nice if people on both coasts could be on equal footing.

No -- just the current season. So when someone asks if Will Tippin died, you don't have to whitefont the answer if you're clear on the timespan covered.

A thread that's whitefonted until the next morning is verboten to me, because I catch up on TV on the weekends. People who watch via DVD (the HBO series, for instance) won't be able to natter on all their other shows without spoilage.
