I think that's an issue open for discussion.
Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!
We open it up, we talks the talk, we votes, we shuts it down. This thread is to free up Bureaucracy for daily details as we hammer out the Big Issues towards a vote. Open only when a proposal has been made and seconded according to Buffista policy (Which we voted on!). If this thread is closed, hie thee to Bureaucracy instead!
Okay. I'm not even sure which I would prefer. Just curious as to what exactly is on the table.
This is the only solution I can see that addresses all of these meta-issues as well as the new proposed thread at hand.
It may make some solutions, but it also fucks up a perfectly good thread. I like my threads generally unfucked if you please. The simple idea of keeping a post to one show makes me want to hit someone with a brick. We cross post, we cross shows, we DISCUSS; it's what we do. That kind of filtering would be very counter to board culture.
Not that I have a strong opinion on this or anything.
Denise, I don't know what I'd prefer either.
ND's post made me laugh at the end.
ND's post made me laugh at the end.
It made me hide.
I tend to cause both of those reactions quite a bit.
I'm kinda like the Hagrid of b.org that way.
I have a strong opinion about ND.
Hagrid of b.org
Only much, much more handsome.
The idea of a Fall TV thread seems like a good idea, on the surface, but I'm not sure how practical it is. It has the potential for causing yet another paradigm shift.

Flattery will get you everywhere.
I can't see a Fall TV thread without a mechanism (which doesn't have to be code -- probably shouldn't).
The idea of putting a radio button for every single show in the thread ... technically it feels like a morass, and culturally ... ick.
Hell, I'm trying to imagine forcibly segregating SGA and SG1 posts -- why would you?
